OIL ON CANVAS AND MEASURES UNKNOWN
for this project i used oil pastels i like them the best out of the 3 mediums we used. because of how easy they draw, the color goes down really well. i still don't really understand the concept of the blending technique so i just kind of went with it. but i like the outcome. for my second medium i used chalk pastels i also like them over colored pencils. the color just comes out and blends so much nicer. not all streaky like colored pencils would. i just don't like how the finished product of colored pencils looks. (streaky. u can see the white thru the colors)
for our man machine project i used sharpie for my medium. we had to keep everything black and white. i made my piece a triptych. because as i was making my art i had a lot of extra white on the sides and i didnt like it. so to waste space i drew more gears to the left and hearts to the right. after seeing so many other ideas on pintrest its hard for me to come up with my own. i feel like every idea already had been taken. personally i feel like i have no creativity and thats a issue im hoping to slove or overcome this year during art.
